Montenegro: ‘Dream Come True’ for Slavko Kalezić

Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG have internally selected the act that will be performing at Eurovision 2017! Slavko Kalezić will be following on from the Highway, and travelling to Kyiv next year to represent Montenegro with the song ‘Space.’

Earlier in the year, the broadcaster RTCG asked for submissions, and they receieved a total of 27 entries. The song that Slavko will be singing, titled Space, was composed by Momčila Zekovića. The song will be released at a later date.

Slavko was born in 1985, and rose to fame after participating in X Factor Adria back in 2013. He was coached by Eurovision royalty, Željko Joksimović, who has represented Serbia & Montenegro, and Serbia at Eurovision in 2004 and 2012 respectively. Željko has also hosted the contest in Belgrade in 2008. Slavko is a well-known actor in the Montenegrin National Theatre, and has graduated from the Faculty of Drama at the University of Montenegro in Cetinje. He also released an album two years ago.
